I wish I had more car friends...I start talking about my E30 to my wife and she gets that glazed look on her face. She listens until I get done with my rant and then says " What are you talking about?". Oh well maybe I'll meet back up with my old friends in Atlanta when I get back. I don't talk too much about cars in public as nobody really cares/knows what I'm talking about. It's funny, I work with nothing but jet engine mechanics and somehow I am the only one who fixes his own cars and increasingly all their cars too....I guess the gap between F-16 jet engines and a Honda Civic is just too great.sigpic'87 335i

Nope. Been on forums since I got my first car in 03, I talk about them constantly. VWvortex the longest, I just post in the carlounge now. On here, lurk bimmerforums, detailingworld, a handful of BMX forums. When I had my SVT Focus I moderated one of the larger forums in that community too.91 318is M50 swapped

This dipshit missed his drain pan when changing his oil. People like that are the reason I generally hate talking about cars.

Haven't read this whole thread, but OP you might just be a fucktard. Or maybe just incredibly shallow. Though I'm from Michigan and we aren't as fashionable as you cail people.
I find the idea of hiding ones interest in cars completely idiotic. Never in my life have I come across a woman that didn't like me cause I love cars. Nor have I lost friends due to my automotive interest.sigpic
