When I was a senior in high school we all had to do a self improvement project that would ultimately decide whether we graduated. It was learn something new and write a full report on history/background, influence on people/yourself, and how it change you as a person.

I chose to learn how to DJ :D I loved it, my neighbor was a DJ and he became my mentor. Learned using CDJs but also was taught how to mix with vinyls. SOO MUCH FUN!!

    I worked on these badboys

As musically inclined as i am, ive probably done everything else but learn to DJ. Ive kind of always had an urge to cause i think it would be fun. Ive always thought if it as producing with a crowd. I think i could do that.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Part of the fun of being a DJ, at least from my short experience, was when I did parties for teens and shit was to deny the one guy who thinks he is the shit and life of the party the song he requests LOL.

guy; "Aye man can you play this song, shit would get poppin if you do!"

        me; "uhm no."

^funny thing is its usually the song HE wants to hear. Well its not about him, its about the people. Many of my friends who are DJs always forget that part, so they end up playing music that they like, not what their listeners like, which explained why they never got gigs ;)

Luckily for me, I DJed parties for teens my age at the time, so I knew what they wanted to hear. I get to listen to music I like and they get to party hard.

OH YEA AND TONS OF FREE FOOD! loved doing weddings, corporate events, and birthdays.
