You would lose hitting a moose.

I take it you never hit a deer then.

Regardless of what you're trying to avoid (moose, dear, accident, etc.), the video illustrates a simple fact: US brand SUVs do not handle well at speed when a sudden direction change is called upon. Yet, as another person here pointed out, we see these (insert the SUV of choice here) being driven by people who think their vehicle can handle/respond like a car. Some say they feel safe driving them. I suppose they have a point since 2.5 tons of SUV can plow through objects with devastating effect, but they can roll over without much effort too.

The SUV does have a purpose though. If you have a lot of shit/people to haul or a trailer to tow, they are good at it. That's about it. I wouldn't consider buying one unless I had either of these issues and needed a solution. Otherwise I am sticking to cars.

Seemed like other SUVs are mainly fine though. America just makes shit cars.

I mean, half of them are still putting leaf springs in their new cars...

Why is everyone pointing at the fact that the Jeep is an American car when the video says the only car to completely topple over was a Mercedes?

Who jerks the wheel to the right that hard after pulling such a hard left?

Good r&d on jeeps side, but jeep != America.

One of the last autocrosses I did someone ran an SRT Jeep. I was working when he was running, and, though it wasn't on 3 wheels, every time it came around I was ready to move. It's terrifying to see one of those things getting whipped around heading towards you.
