Antlion mod mic, I run one with a pair of ath-ad500x by audio-technica and they're great. My corsair headset is decent though I'll give it that.Comment

call me a hipster fan boy but i have the V-Moda m-100s with the boom-pro mic attachment , it sounds really clear and crisp and is still pretty lightweight.Comment

that's a good mic too, even the $15 mics that clip on to your shirt are better than most "gaming headset" micsComment

yeahp i love it i got it after i saw a video of someone using it for a podcast and he sounded better than the dudes using huge pelican beach/ Logitech cans and even a guy with a standalone mic.Comment

I typically use the mic that came with the Creative Fatal1ty headset ziptied to either my Audiotechnica or Bose headphones lol. It's super ghetto but it works so well. I have a set of steelseries siberia's too, but I never use them.

Grados or sennheisers are decent for low budget, grados get expensive when they go overear but are like 60-120$ in the smaller cans.
I have a Steelseries H wireless headset and i dont think its ever had a problem in the last 3 years, sounds good, software works, good adjustments, good mic.
