so since we're kinda talking about race cars, I wanted to share something Ive been going back and forth about lately... My Datsun
The car has been pretty great, but being a 50 year old car, its hard not to feel like it has its own personality. Ive been getting this weird suspicion that this lady just doesnt want to be a racecar. They are weird circumstances, but I truly feel like she just wants to be driven, but on the streets, not the track. With that said, do I just put my hand over her mouth and make her do what I want, or do I just let her go and get another car thats already been prepped for race car stuff?... Ive found one I like... theres ALWAYS a car that I want... The one I found will work, and seems to be a sneaky one, just like me.
Am I reading too much into these weird circumstances ?Simon

IMO I would let it go.
Find a car that feels like a race car to you.

If you do that though make sure you take the person who runs the tech inspection with you to check it out or send them tons of detailed pics. Nothing like buying a race car to have to redo the cage cause it wont pass. Or if its certified get the cert for it.
