She runs back window is missing. Daily driven, $750 go for it?

Back window in plastic is around $200 bolted on for a touch of drift maybe down the road as body damage is evident.

Or just pass as this isn’t the deal I might think it is to you all.
$5 says he buys it even though I told him not to.

Not anymore. Just ordered a water pump for my 3.5L Ford Taurus.

It’s next to impossible to replace. Worst then Audi engineering

yeah that engine is a POS IIRC

water pump is integrated into the timing chain and its FWD, so yeah..

It seems like everyday I find out about another car Sonny owns..

And I though spark plug access and turbo installation was a pain on my car... Hey, at least the bottom nuts that hold the manifold on will be easy to get to.

I actually like the current gen Taurus. The 3.5 water pumps issue also seem to affect the SHO models.
IIRC, when the pump fails it spews hot coolant into the crankcase, thereby causing all sorts of fun!
Dunno why they couldn't just use a conventional external pump like on other vehicles.
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

My guess is that engine was engineered for FWD cars only and having the pump integrated into the timing components allowed them to save some space in the length of the engine, so it will clear the frame.

The new Ford Taurus is so ugly.

Wheels look oversized, and the front end is similar to the new mustangs

Fuck those cars. Had to do one on my grandma’s Taurus a couple years ago. What a terrible design.
