It wouldn't be hard to make fake citizenship cards, unless they have changed the design since '98. Looks like they used a cheap laminator, I've seen high school ASB cards that are harder to duplicate. Heck, I even have one to duplicate. ;)

If you are really serious about this, I hope you are doing more research than asking R3V for tips on how to move to a different country. We may be your tophat but that doesn't mean we will just let you move here :D
I believe foreign students pay full rate for tuition. That can mean 3-4 times what Canadian citizens pay. I went to University of Waterloo and there were a few students from Hong Kong in my class. Their parents were not too worried about the extra cost if you know what I mean.
maybe start here:

and this is a long term plan, i know i will have to do tons more research on it but i have already researched a little and this thread is helping.Comment

I'm not sure what exactly your goals are as far as a career goes/schooling goes but I can tell you that if you're undecided and willing to put in a little sweat you can make killer coin ($100k+) on rig sites in the Northern part of BC/Alberta.
If you have any interest in a trade the oil/gas companies here will usually fly you from where you live to where the site is. I've worked a couple fly-in fly-outs, and it fucking rules. As long as you're cool with being out of town on a shift basis like one week/one week or 2/2, etc.
That being said...we are talking Northern BC, where it's not uncommon to get 15ft. of snow/-20F temps in the winter.Originally posted by Dozyproductions

Definitely do lots of research. There are lots of i's to dot and t's to cross.
It's refreshing to hear about Americans wanting to move to Canada for a change. Canada seems to get a bad rap from some 'Muricans. I know a lot of that is good natured ribbing and it can go both ways. :DComment

As a former "Rig Pig" I'm going to have to say, (and no offense meant to the pant-less one) Spency does not strike me as a lad who would be interested in, or welcomed into the rigging life. there are some real old-school heartless cowboys out there. I mean some solid dudes, but the skin must be hella thick. it really is a whole different (albeit very lucrative) world in the patch.
I am not at all kidding.
Also, as someone else mentioned, Foreign students pay an incredible premium to attend Canadian post secondary school, you really need to look into that. also with Vancouver you have literally picked one of the most expensive cities in at least North America to live in.
all that aside, I would move back to BC in a heartbeat, although I like the desert areas in the southern interior and Okanagan better than the coast.Comment
