Do you just say whatever comes to mind? You are wrong. Violent offenders are taken very seriously and are not systematically as part of the inmate turnover released to make room. There is a very well thought out system used based on the inmate's record, offense, population of the prison at the time and behavior while incarcarted that all go into determining the release date.
In L.A. County in 2000 (last time I worked there) they did not release sex offenders, spousal abusers or people that used weapons in the commission of a crime before they served at least 85% of their time and only did that early when there was a severe (read 110%) over capacity of the system.
I know because I was an Attorney that worked in that system. Or do you think your vast experience in the food services industry better qualifies you to speak on this topic?
