Becasue when you drive you are in control of the car and it has so much character.Comment

Its reliable as hell. I put 10,000 miles on it since August. Not a single problem. Its got 262,000 miles on it and I trust it to go anywhere.
My other Car is a gay ass Corolla. Its absoluty nowhere near as fun to drive.
Looking forward to its winter hibernation where the Body work will get done along with every bushing on the car.1985 325e M50TU(Sold)

Hey James, I'm in that pic! Haha..
They're small and fun, relatively safe and cheap little cars with a roundel. The people are great too. Mine saved my life 10/9, giving its own. Well, the cage did, but the trunk caved in to the right after contacting a tree off the road (first, the whole thing was effed).Comment

I love my e30 for many reasons....
I love the color, it's handling capabilities, it's gorgeous looks, and the bunch of new people and friends I have all because I bought my car. I will for3ver be grateful.Comment

the crowd it brings. i didn't wanna buy a clean type R and be associated with all the other youngsters with the the 45 degree angle illest sticker and towhook bullshit. you know, all the "JDM" specials. euro cars are just more respectable. i accidentally stumbled upon a convertible e30 over craigslist; had never even really noticed e30's. did some research, fell in love, bought a vert a few months after.
this is aside from all the obvious things: timeless body lines, amazing front end, awesome handling, the reliability, the amount of fun you get even with a stock m20, and of course, the looks you get even though your car is from the eighties.sigpic

I love the fact that I can back up and see where the hell I'm going. On every other car there's a bumper "somewhere back there" and need a backup camera to maneuver the ship.
After I park it, I always turn around and look at it.
Holding a drink between my thighs while shifting is a skill.

Yea I gotta say even when it was pissing me off beyond belief and I wanted to sell it, I'd go look at it it's like my fiancé, I can't stay mad at it, same as her. And I love driving it, just puts a smile on my face cruising around. I love the looks. It's Just my well built beautiful brickDENY IGNORANCE!
