I would do that as well if I did not have a missus. Probably a few more cars and maybe a spray booth, welding area and a clean room for engine assembly.

Wouldn't be allowed here in the US too many code issues. Consider having the second bedroom open into the other bath as well. Master Bedroom should be connected to the Bath more than the second bedroom.

Nah it's not real, just something that popped up on Facebook. I wish it was though! I don't have any kind of garage so I work until it gets dark then do the smaller stuff in my lounge room haha!

I was actually working with a contracter for something like this. I wanted some land and a large garage but a bank won't give you a loan for that. So you add an "apartment" on the side or the top and you have a house. The garage would have 15' ceilings.

Damn I don't think I would ever leave if I lived in a place like that, well stocked tool box and a well stocked fridge and I'd be set haha!

There is a major flaw there. Presumably the right side bedroom would be for children. You would not want them traipsing through the garage and messing with what is in the garage.

Other than that it looks about right. Assuming a 14' ceiling in the garage.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

What's with the pac-man doors? Who had the brilliant idea of making the double doors open towards each other?

on a serious note, i've been thinking about how awesome it would be to buy one of the smaller industrial buildings in richmond to live in. basically build a loft in the back for my bed over the kitchen area. build a bathroom, insulate it a bit, and epoxy the entire floor. it would be so sick to live right next to the cars and have as much climate controlled space to work as i wanted. plus cleaning the "house" would just take a pressure washer.
