Do it.
I haven't seen anything like this on here. So I thought I'd share my experience. I quit the cigarettes. And I'm not looking back. Some may say I just switched my sources of nicotine delivery, but they'd be wrong in the long run.
I smoked, for 10 years. Far less than a lot of people. I got lazy, I got unhealthy, and gained a lot of weight. 3 weeks ago I recently found myself single, and said I'm quitting.
Now, I feel fantastic. It feels wonderful to exercise again without feeling like dying. It feels wonderful to not smell like cigarettes. It feels wonderful to not need to go outside and smoke. I can smell again, I can taste the WONDERMENT that is food again. It's amazing.
If your wanting to quit. I, my brother (Who smoked for longer), and 2 other friends of mine have quit, using one thing. The Joye Ego-C. The liquid is Propylene Glycol, flavoring, and nicotine. That's it. Heated up with a coil, and produces vapor that tastes NOTHING like a cigarette (much better, depending on the millions of flavors out there), and gives you the nicotine you are addicted to, AND maintains the hand, mouth, smoke, etc habit.
You can also take the path I'm taking, and over 2 months I'm going to reduce my liquids nicotine content to zero, and put down the Ego. If I ever have a crisis (which may or may not happen), making me desire the feeling of smoking, I can pick this right back up for that little affirmation that there is no benefit to it anymore after I won't get a nicotine dosage.
It dries you out, so you need to drink a lot of water. In preperation of being dehydrated, I started drinking more water and less soda (I was at a whopping 2 liter bottle a day, if not the whole bottle, nearly one. Soda was my sole source of liquid nourishment). And within 2 days, no longer drinking soda at all.
In putting down cigarettes, starting on this, dropping the soda, and actually JOGGING (Something I hadn't done in years), I have lost 15 lbs in 18 days. I haven't changed my eating habit that much. More healthy ingredients compared to prepackaged stuff. It's enough to worry me. That's a LOT of weight, very fast. But from what I can tell so far I'm losing fat, not muscle.
Seriously, take it from a former avid smoker. It works. I can breathe. I can feel. I'm not coughing after working out, and all the tar and caked up shit coming out of my lungs tastes like riesens...

Now, to those who say that I'm just switching nicotine delivery, again I'm tapering off. On top of that, there is no actual burning of tobacco. It's vaporized PG (PG is the medium in some Asthma inhalers, and a common ingredient in food), nicotine, and food grade flavoring, nothing more. There are ZERO carcinogens.

While it certainly isn't the best as compared to quitting cold turkey and altogether, if quitting is your eventual goal, it's certainly a hell of a lot less destructive compared to smoking. In the interest of not being spammy, I won't recommend a website. But I will say there's a nice place in Kildeer Il I get my equipment from.
Do yourself a favor. Try it. This thing came in the mail on Nov 28th. I haven't had a cigarette since. And I have ZERO desire to have one again. If you want to quit, and have tried all the other methods (I didn't try all, but most), it can't hurt. It's working for me and my family. So I extend this personal experience with the R3V family.
