31x10.5. Bushwacker flat flares. I have a detours tailbone to install. I installed truck lite led headlights and I'm gonna get a detours front bumper backbone winch setup.

Yeah, I want to run 33s and I am pretty sure I read I wouldn't even be able to run that large with your setup. I was looking at LED headlights but couldn't decide if they were going to be a nuisance on the road, and the ones you got are $450 for the headlights. ouch

Totally worth it though. I love them. I don't see the reason to go with 33s. At that point you'll need a 4.5 inch lift and a whole lot more. Like sye, etc. also you'll be starting to test the stock axle strength. Although for the occasional fire road run you'd probably be good. Kind of useless with a 2wd imo.

I just found some LED headlights and KC lights on CL that I will hopefully be picking up this week, so I'll see how well those work. As far as the 33's it is mainly for looks because the flares I want are so large, just means I don't have to lift it as much which saves me money on all the little parts that I need for a taller lift. I will most likely have to regear, but it's all for fun anyways.

I won't be doing a lot of crawling/wheeling anyways. Mostly fire roads and some mud etc.

My little brothers first car. '91 XJ Sport with the L6 and an auto trans.
We started with new gaskets for the valve cover, oil pan, and rear main seal. Did all the filters and an oil change and fixed the little electrical thing on the trans that turns on the reverse lights. We also wired up some LED revers lights that can be turned off, on, or just on when in revers.
Then we did a 3" Quadratec lift with some Energy Suspension bushings front and back and all new steering components. Next up is a set of 31x10.5 tires. Hes also working on a new headliner by himself.

Picked up this a few months back for a project. Now has taken daily duties since my CRV was stolen.

95, I6, AW4, NP231. So far it's a beast I'm starting to really the thing.







All stock aside from 31's, rolled fenders and trimmed factory flares. Done quite a bit of maintenance on it and it's driving much better. All new ball joints, wheel bearings and tie rods going on this weekend.


PO had done some work and replaced the cooling system with a 3 row alum radiator and a couple crappy e-fans run off a probe thermostat. Was still getting pretty warm in traffic so I went to a junk yard and picked up two factory e-fans with shrouds. Have one installed and it's noticeably much better. He also installed sound deadening floor to ceiling and filled the rear quarters with expandable foam which has been seriously annoying to re-fit the rear panels. Otherwise is a really solid truck, 0 rust and minimal body flaws. I'll probably keep it for awhile.
