I quit for 1.5 years. Then Started again. Quit for 1 year. Then started again. Quit for 6 months. Now I smoking again.

I've been cold turkey for the past 5 days. Jebus its hard. Replacing smokes with food & chewing on pens.
The most addictive parts is the motion of smoking. U dont realize how often u hold things like your about to smoke them. I often catch myself doing it to toothpicks
I quit cold turkey while I was in college. The hardest thing for me was when others smoked around me or when I was drunk. Which, while in college, was pretty much all the time.
I'm glad I quit. It was actually harder for me to quit weed than cigs. Mostly because I loved smoking weed and i smoked cigs... Kinda just cuz
I made it 3 days without a smoke. Then I bought a pack when I realized I was not only grumpy, I was mean without 'em. I went on the patches for a few days, but one time forgetting to put one on and I was back at square one: A grumpy, mean little bitch.
So, I'm down to 1 pack a week. Hopefully I'll be able to kick it once and for all. Don't start smoking young...
I just up and quit cold turkey one day almost 10 years ago after smoking reds for nearly 20 years. My wife says I was an asshole for a few weeks (more so than usual), but she went through it a couple of years later so we're even.
