Own, wouldn't mind or never...an e36. R3V Opinion

I'm late to the party.

I own a 1997 M3/4/5 and I fucking love it. I bought the car with a blown motor last March and threw a replacement S52 in there along with a TON of maintenance items and of course a few upgrades. This car is my daily driver and I've put about 10k on it so far. It's definitely not perfect but god damn do I like it! Anyone who says an E36 M3 doesn't handle very well is out of their damn mind.

If you're on a budget nothing beats the simplicity and feel of the E30 though.

I find its so much harder to make an e36 look nice than it is an e30, and so much easier to make it look hideous.

Would go for a late 2-door m3 in estoril/dakar/techno/alpine in good shape if I ever felt the urge.

This machine hasn't been used much as of late thanks to my e30. Honestly I do enjoy e36m3s. Maybe its because I had a secret crush on them since middle school.
