I tried that last year. too much fat gain for me. I didnt work out enough either. Ive been going consistently for about 8 months now. Ive been on and off for the past 4 years.
I eat ~3200 calories per day,
217 grams of protein
132 grams of fat
295 grams of carbs.
I basically eat the same meals everyday mon-friday. I go off course during the weekends b/c I am off work, but I still make sure its High carb/high protein/healthy stuff.
I am basically always bulking, Ive never cut. I started this time last year at around 145 lbs, maybe less. I'm now about 156-158 lean. Goal is 170, aesthetic, somewhat lean. (12% is ok in my book)
Slow process but im in no rush.

I'm now at 185, 6ft and 19 y/o. According to the fat analyzer I have, I'm roughly 14% body fat. Don't entirely believe that though. Just strength training at the moment, and will cut down to under 9% when the time comes.Leave a comment:

so I just read up on the Keto Diet, just a low carb diet. That's what I always do except I don't eat a lot of fat like it says to do. Started more cardio and I'm getting down into single digit body fatLeave a comment:

I don't think this is caused by it. I had the flu before I started which was due to heavy drinking and lack of sleep i'm pretty sure. I think this ear infection is just the aftermath of the flu. Anyway, just had some chicken spinach curry with lettuce and sour cream. Ribeye tonight for dinner...this ain't so bad!Leave a comment:

Yeah, thats the detoxing part i think. I work in IT so all I do critical thinking and problem solving and it makes stuff a lot more difficult. Akin to having a nicotine fit or something. That feeling went away my second round of keto tho.Leave a comment:

My body went total skitzo on a straight keto diet.......I did the modified version of backloading for awhile. I couldn't focus at all when I was in a full ketogenic state, contrary the the so called clarity and energy you're supposed to have. I know it works, I lost fat, and have many buddies that still do it. Just wasn't for me.
