It's too nice for me to be in the gym, been doing bodyweight/calisthenics at the park. Also decided I was lean enough and tired of getting gradually stronger but still looking lean and defined but small. Starting a small clean bulk, gonna see what happens after a few weeks. Hopefully eating more good food and training will allow me to grow without getting fat. I'm confident I can cut back anything that I gain and don't want in short order at this point.Leave a comment:

training my 2 friends now. Just need to convince them to eat more protein, they think the powder is bad for you, but they have nothing to ever back up why except for them believing hippie conspiracy theories. Everything I tell them is true, but still don't believe, fucking stupid. Same with Creatine, they didn't even know that you get it from eating meat, they thought it was some made up shit. I told them to go read before you just listen to non-sense. Anyone have good articles to send to them?Leave a comment:

I didn't go a whole lot heavier on shoulders today, but for abs instead of 100 reps on the ab wheel, I did 100 on the V-Crunch machine, and 125 crunches (legs up/crossed).
Down to 206 lbs. from 209 at my last pinch test around the 12th or so of last month. Going in again next week, hoping to be at 205, and down around high 13/low 14% BF. Last pinch was 14.8%.Leave a comment:

do you track your stuff on bodybuilding.com?
I just started but his week i'm doing a crazy style set to shock my muscles.
i'm doing Arnolds 1-10
you start with your 1 max rep then drop weight to be able to do 2, then drop weight to do 3 and so on until you hit 10. NO REST.
so yesterday was bi's and I started with incline curl.

65x1
60x2
55x3
50x4
45x5
40x6
35x7
30x8
27x9
25x10
almost 2000lbs lifted, forearms and wrists were hurting before my bi's,
that was just the first exercise :)Last edited by Thizzelle; 06-04-2014, 01:35 PM.Leave a comment:

Jesus fuck, I'm not going to be able to walk tomorrow. Most brutal leg day to date.
Went heavy on everything, started out at my weights from last week, and over 5 sets, increased to the max listed:
Squats: 5 x 12 @ 175
Leg Press: 5 x 12 @ 205
Stiff-Leg Deadlift: 5 x 12 @ 165
Hamstring Curls: 5 x 12 (each side) @ 65
Dumbell Lunges: 5 x 12 (each side) @ 35 (each hand)
Standing Calf Raises: 5 x 12 @ 220Leave a comment:

you can defiantly tell a difference when you eat this stuff. I call it legal crack.Leave a comment:

I pop two caffeine pills and down 5g of creatine. Sometimes I throw in some advil.
The only other crap worth a damn is beta alanine and theanine especially when combined with caffeine.
Citrulline gets an honorable mention also.Leave a comment:

it's all marketing. I've had some of the cheapest stuff work better than most. I do eat the Arnold vitamin pack, it's better than the animal pack for sure. Don't know about pre-workout stuff, haven't tried it.Leave a comment:

I tried a couple samples of that Arnold Series stuff, the pre-workout and the protein, didn't like either of them.
I'm a big fan of MP stuff, but I wasn't impressed by the Arnold stuff. Seems like more marketing than innovative products.Leave a comment:
