So you guys eating these cocktails of egg whites and chicken breasts
is this the plan for the rest of your lives or just a hobby for now to look big, then
      you're over it?

When will you say screw it and get a nice cheesburger combo or a breakfast burrito.

Way of Life! Most people that eat clean as a way of life, have a cheat day, or % of cheat meals each week....Totally butting in out of left field. LOL

          lol yes. exactly

this is pretty decent but theres no way to get the nutritional requirements from just this. its not exactly a ketogenic diet and not exactly a bulk diet. if i ate like this at 180lbs 6'2, I'd lose a ton of weight and a bunch of muscle.
well I didn't post some fruit in the morning also and protein shakes after workout. So no you wouldn't lose muscle, it's more than 200g of protein.

I've been doing it for 10 years now just not this perfect at the moment.

So starting Sunday, I cut my carbs down to about 1/4 of what I was eating. I haven't gone over about 70-90g carbs in 4 days, while also keeping my calories about 200-300 under my goal per day, and I've already lost about 2 more pounds. Scale at the gym this morning was just hovering at a hair over 213. Before, I was keeping my calories down to about where I just stated, but my carbs were up around 200-350g per day. Also making myself drink a shit-ton more water, not that I wasn't drinking a lot before, but even more now.

So I'm taking in about 2000-2100 calories per day, while burning about 400-500 at the gym 5 days per week with 2 rest days. Possibly more, because I'm right now just going by the calorie counter on the cardio machines, and what MyFitnessPal figures I'm burning for about 20-25 minutes of strength training.

Well this is just a misconception... Yes I eat eggs, oatmeal, and chicken every day, but these are essentials. I eat more than pretty much everyone I know, I eat anything I want... yes burritos, cheeseburgers, ice cream, cake, etc, and still in better shape than 4/5 people I know.

The people with extreme diets are few and far between.. some people are legitimate, however you will mainly see some people who think if they do that they will reach their goals.. this is not something short term. That's why they get burnt out and quit. I do not think I will ever "quit" this "lifestyle". I love eating healthy and being physically fit.

Same. I've been in this lifestyle for about 8 months now, and I feel and look better than I've ever felt in my life. I don't see myself ever changing. I've gone from 245 lbs to 213, hoping to get to 200, gone down 2 pant sizes, and I feel better in everything I do. My only regret is that it took 20 years to get to this point.

that's good but I'm telling you the diet I posted up earlier is working crazy for me. I lost 10 pounds in 3 days so far after being on it for a week & a half. Weight didn't change last week but from Monday to Wednesday I lost 10 pounds. I work out then do 400 cals on the running machine, probably is more since it's just some generic number.

should also make you look younger. People think I'm 5-6 years younger than I am. And older guys at the gym look 10 years younger.

What I'm doing right now seems to be working quite well. Every person's body is different.

Scale at the gym yesterday morning read 211!!! Still sticking right around 90-120g carbs per day, and it's working out great. It's gotten a lot easier just in the week since I started eating like this, still getting plenty of fats, proteins and calories, too. Just talked with the nutritionist at my gym yesterday, she said that everything I'm doing is right on track to keep taking me toward a goal of 200 lbs or less. But today... today is eat-whatever-the-fuck-I-want day... :D

Dropping 11 pounds to get to your goal is literally do-able in 3-4 days like what Thizzle is saying.

                            Keep lifting!

I had to sit out on Fridays training :( My shoulder is killing me (snatches). My pelvis is aching (weather change and previous dislocation injury). And I had a stomach bug. I STILL SQUATED 2 SETS THO

I eat for purpose. If I need to cut my diet is strict. If I'm lifting hard and heavy and its cold out, i'm eating 500-1000 over my required intake. If I want a cheeseburger, I go have a cheeseburger. Otherwise my normal food is eggs, chicken, steak, vegetables. AKA WHAT YOU SHOULD BE EATING ANYWAYS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

yeah first week on any new diet blows because body has to get use to it. Also when you cut carbs you feel really weak but body adjusts after 10 days or so.
