    Chest/ab morning.

    Didn't have a spot so I had to use the smith machine. Yuck.
    Bar of smith machine only weighs 20 lbs.
    175 (-25) for 10 reps.
    205 (-25) for 7 reps
    225 (-25) for 4 reps <- very disappointed lol

    70's dumbbell incline 8 reps for 3 sets

    Chest press machine with 80+/- lbs on each arm, for 3 sets of a bunch of reps.

    Cable fly with added weight

    Weighted ab crunches.

    Derp

        Down to 210 this morning on the scale at the gym! Still doing around 100g of carbs per day, eating about 300-500 calorie deficit per day, as well. Decided on Monday of this week, no cheat meals for 2 weeks.

          There's no need to eat at a deficit if you will just eat less carbs........

          Also no reason to have "cheat meals" if you're eating like you're on keto. What could feel better than more meat and more cheese? ;)

            I don't want to do keto. Like I said, I'm only eating like 100-130g of carbs per day, and enjoying it.

              Doing keto and loving it.

              God I miss pizza though.

              I lift for 1 1/2 hours each morning and an hour each weekend day. Then walk the dog 3 miles every day for cardio.

              Hovering around 225 & having trouble getting enough food to gain weight. Can't break 315 bench without wrist pain so I bought some good wrist wraps, they seem to be helping though.

                  Cast iron pan.

                  2ish pounds of ground beef, mix with two eggs, flatten it out with an outer thicker crust, bake at 400 until cooked, forgot the time.

                  Top with minimal sauce, fuck ton of cheese and pepperoni, bake til melted.

                  Eat the fuck out the meatza.

                    I just did mine in a 19x12 baking sheet, came out great.

                    And I'm down to 208 since my last post on the 9th. Dropped the low-carb BS, just eating about a 1k calorie deficit, and changed my lifting days to mon/weds/fri, still doing cardio every day, just more on tues/thurs/sat. Body fat is at around 20%, my new goal is 190 lbs. and 15% body fat.

                        You're the only person that's telling me that. Keto is not the ONLY way to get there.

                        I'm getting damn good muscle tone right now. I don't think you're getting that I'm not trying to be big ripped bodybuildevguy. Just lean with muscle tone and strength.

                          Figured I should post in here a bit.

                          I used to play competition hockey and stopped quite some time ago. I was playing pick up hockey until about a year ago when I tore the AC ligament in one of my shoulders. Went through rehab and I started training for powerlifting in late July. Haven't been focusing much on bench dude to my shoulder.

                          Anyone here actually do meets?

                          I competed in my first meet this past weekend and did OKAY. I definitely have a long ways to go, but I have gotten significantly stronger in two months and put on close to 5-8lbs.

                          Gym PR's: Squat 435, Paused Bench 225, Deadlift 425

                          Meet totals in 181 class: Squat 407, Paused Bench 237, Deadlift 463.

                          I could post some videos, but I would have to upload them. The 463 DL looked like a feather when I pulled it and I missed my 435 squat (really bummed on that)

                            Im actually not the only person. Im just the only person holding you accountable to your swaying ideals. No one else is saying anymore.

                            If you eat at 1k calorie deficite, goodbye fat and goodbye muscle gains. You're in noob status right now. Regardless of your #welivethis #zomgmusclepharmdawg hashtags, you are in fact still learning and showing noob gains. And you've made some good improvements. If you took my advice and ran with it, you'd have already reached your goal. Thats what you're not hearing. But its ok, i understand its extremely difficult. Bar none, keto is the fastest way to lose body fat and retain muscle mass. I challenge anyone in here to find information to refute that.

                            However, 100g of carbs per day will get you there albeit slower. You need cals though. Dont do 1000 calorie deficit. Goodbye gains.Also the idea of becoming massive swole guy body builder LOLcarbs dude overnight like you are talking about doesnt happen. It takes years to be that guy. You just wanna beef up and lose fat. Emhpasis on lose fat. Show a little nut and determination and destroy the body fat. Reach your goal. Then move on to another goal. Thats how it works. If you wanna string out losing 30 lbs over 6 months to a year, fine by me. And still good on you. But my points still remain and are more than valid.

                              Sidenote on my own personal training. I've all but stopped doing anything that doesnt relate to snatch or clean and jerk. I've been obsessed over it actually. Anyone done a strictly oly program? I pretty much have been doing sets of 5, triples, doubles, and singles every training day. Squat, front squat, overhead squat, push press, military press, pull ups, dips,. And of course, Snatch and clean/jerk. When I reach my maximum clean with jerk, I start cleaning without jerk. Which at the moment i can clean about 200~lbs but can only jerk about 155. :( wtf

                                Made my first meetza last night and it was one of the greatest things I have experienced. Also has anyone tried zercher squats. I recently started incorporating these and I feel they are one of the best things I could have done for my squatting.
