The doc gave me some Treximet that will hold them off for 12 hrs at a time, but I can only take that every other day. I've been having decent luck fending them off if I catch them early with 800mg ibuprofens.

I hope you feel better, man!
Yeah dude I feel fine now. Migraines run in my family, I get them if I workout or ply sports and don't do a cool down walk/stretch. If I play hard and just sit down immediately my body freaks out hard.

If you'd like a semi-educated opinion on something British, let me know. I won't be held accountable for any purchases and subsequent fits of rage related to my responses, however. ;)

Moi aussi. I also get them intermittently if I wear hats for too long, wear a necklace (not an issue), have long hair, don't eat for long period of time or don't get enough sleep. There are other triggers as well. It can get really annoying.

It's been a lot better in recent years though, I only get them three times a month or so and a combination of Treximet or (for the budget conscious) Naproxen and Sumatriptan will get rid of them (Treximet is essentially Naproxen and Sumatriptan mixed iirc). According to my 5 minute google browse of Midrin it might be more effective than Treximet for migraines, so hopefully that works.

ideally, a live/work kinda space, not more than a mile from a BART station, somewhere between Berkeley and Hayward.

new gig is in SF right near 3com park, driving there is just not a fun or appropriate use of this car.

i've gotten eye migraines a couple times. they look sorta like an acid flashback. happens when i spend too much time staring at computer screens. (unfortunately that's kinda my job.)

made a good impression today. bloody exhausted now. taking a breather for a few mins before the gf gets home and wants to start packing shit. maybe i should make coffee.

Are polyurethane bump stops actually a thing that exist? I've been looking for them because my foam ones are over 1" long (already slightly trimmed down) and I want something shorter and stiffer.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
