It's been a lot better in recent years though, I only get them three times a month or so and a combination of Treximet or (for the budget conscious) Naproxen and Sumatriptan will get rid of them (Treximet is essentially Naproxen and Sumatriptan mixed iirc). According to my 5 minute google browse of Midrin it might be more effective than Treximet for migraines, so hopefully that works.
Thanks Doc! I appreciate you lending your experiences. Do you ever get triggered by working in poorly light spaces?

i've gotten eye migraines a couple times. they look sorta like an acid flashback. happens when i spend too much time staring at computer screens. (unfortunately that's kinda my job.)

made a good impression today. bloody exhausted now. taking a breather for a few mins before the gf gets home and wants to start packing shit. maybe i should make coffee.
That sounds doable. What does the gf do? Does she live with you as well?

    Just cut the foam ones.

Yes. A lot of mine are eyesight triggered. I wear contacts so if there's something wrong with a contact or if I lose one or something it's pretty much an instant migraine. Also working/reading in low lit rooms can do it more gradually for me. Sometimes fluorescent lights can do it too.

Really when I list all the triggers out I sound like a huge puss.

One day, I hope that I can cause a ruckus large enough for Banny to ban me. But until that day, I will continue do nothing and rarely contribute to the information-rich well-being of this forum.

vampire weekend is the funniest band. i can't decide if they are serious with some of their lyrics. i like the neo-baroque punk pop sound though.

What's the shortest bump stop you can run before the strut piston hits the bottom of the insert? I don't wanna cut my foam ones too short and end up destroying the damper, and I was wondering how short I can get the poly ones, since they won't really compress. Sorry for being too poor to afford either camber plates or shortened struts :(.

Cut the foam in half. You'll be fine. Maybe.

she's huge into beauty/cosmetics; i put her through school for it last year. afterwards, i was a little disappointed that she stayed working at her retail job @ Lush Cosmetics (cool business, like their stuff, but she could be -using- that cert she earned...)

i've started an internet sideproject this year and am hoping i'll inspire her to think like an entrepreneur rather than an employee also. i think it worked; she picked up a bunch of raw materials with the idea of starting her own boutique makeup line to sell.

there's a Lush store about a 10min walk from our new place in Emeryville, but she doesn't really want to work there (their corporate infrastructure is odd; no inter-store transfers, she'd have to apply @ the new location), so i'm giving her a week of rest after our move this weekend and will start pushing her to either grab the next rung up the ladder (as i have), start producing something of her own (same), or preferably both.
