I have a 25 year old, $50 record player hooked up to average quality speakers, and a $1500 sound system in my e30. I prefer listening to the record player. To name a few vinyls I have... "Dark Side of the Moon", "Legend" (Marley), every Sublime album, and a Lynyrd Skynrd album with Freebird and Alabama.

Nothing in the world is better than listening to "Us and Them" the way it was meant to sound. Complete bliss.

Welcome to the lives of half the kids I went to high school with.

This is only my first year out, but I can say that the music scene at my high school revolved around Dave Matthews Band and O.A.R.

I listen to the stuff occasionally, but my group of friends got around the different types of music. Most of the musicians were like that.

If I had to name favorites, they would come from every genre: 311, Queen, The Who, Jurassic 5, The Allman Brothers, Gustav Holst, Lucky Boys Confusion (semi-local band), Widespread Panic, Paul Oakenfold, and Duke Ellington.

That said, I am allowed to make fun of anyone with a narrow view on music.

Edit: I forgot those guys that do badass movie soundtracks, like Hans Zimmer, and Vangelis.

God, I'm really starting to hate this whole "emo" thing. And I don't mean the "emo" kids, I can stand them, but all the constant fucking bitching and whining about them by everybody who is "cooler" than them. Hey! I got a great idea! Let's beat an old and completely overused stereotype to death over and over again! Are there even emo kids any more? All I see is trendy scenesters at parties, which arn't really any more annoying than any other clique.

I love it!! The La Can~ada crowd. That shit would definitely NOT fly in most parts of L.A. Just the protected, isolated parts where they wont get any reprisals from true thugs. I used to love to fuck with the wannabe's.

This was my crowd for the longest time. Dont make any smart ass comments, Ive moved on. Thats me on the left. Im clean now and rarely see my old homies anymore.

If anyone wants to re-size it, I know its big. I dont know how to.
