Eh not as cool as the e28 in my opinion. But when your lively hood comes from Internet car forums (like mike) this is perfect as it is getting passed around and talked about. Either way it's a cool build, good for him.

Can't wait to see what their response is.
Personally, it's cool he did it, but meh on the execution. I don't see the benefit aside from being a bmw that the m60 has over a small block chevy, or even an old flathead. Could make the same power and be a heck of a lot cheaper with a small block of any american manufacturer.Comment

love the car. he told me he may be putting the s62 laying in the shop in it. it's not done yet, he still has a lot of things that he still needs to fix and add. i think it's bitching though.

That looks really bad...not in a good way. The engine looks just wrong. I am into hotrods and have even considered jumping off the e30 ship for a ratrod, but this is out of place. Totally agree, this needs a flathead. Now, find a vintage BMW cab and throw a m30 with triple webers...then we are going in the right direction.
I'm more interested to see what happens to Rusty when he gets it back to Cali.Comment

looks like shit. I love BMW and all but really? I have never liked anything he built. He's a wanna-be and talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.

I love the rat rod look. The only thing I would have done is an M30B35 instead. Would have looked more unique with a big inline and six stacks off one side. The M3 would have been a more of a raw rod looking engine . I still love it though.Comment
