Dude, Just buy a huge box of frozen chicken. Various pasta and a big bag of rice. Also invest in some mayo, various salad dressings, and your set. All for under 50 bucks.

Oh dear god I haven't had that glorious meat in years. Honestly probably the tastiest creature ever, and I don't even like normal fish. It's like a perfect hybrid between chicken and steak to me.
There's so many amazing sea-food restaurants in eastern MA, but none that I know of carry fresh Mako on a regular basis. :( I like to watch the fisherman in the afternoon unload the actual shark I'm going to eat later.

No kidding, quick, easy, cheap, and tasty. I cooked some cheddar cheese and broccoli rice tonight, cooked a chicken breast in italian dressing, and added a slice of texas toast tonight. Took 20 minutes and was delicous, and cheap.

Burgers in a saucepan with a tomato sauce. Awesome.

Honestly, I prefer canned asparagus. I like the texture more than steamed fresh... Im strange like that. I just steep it in some spices: quick, easy, and tasty.

That sounds interesting. I don't have a grille and I love burgers. I've never liked them just cooked straight up on a stove though. Got any more details on cooking these?

Not really, they are basically stewed like meatballs. Use your own spices, whatever you like. If I am being lazy I can used canned tomatos and make a thin tomato sauce like for angelhair. Then once its stewing set the heat low and put the top on.

I usually just knife and fork em with some of the sauce on top but they take on the flavoring so if you want to put them on a bun and use fixins its a pretty tasty burgers.

I have been tempted to burn a steak but its 18 degrees right now, i dont like standing out in the cold.

Last week of classes one year, my girlfriend and I were cleaning out the kitchen - trying to eat what was there. We were broke, but we made some pasta. No sauce, but we had a can of tomato paste, bbq sauce, salsa and ketchup.

                    Bingo - it worked.

That box of pasta lasted me the whole year and then some - it was this huge box of spaghetti (like 10 lbs) from Sam's Club.

Yeah, I've been having pasta the past couple nites. It saves lives. Today my roommate experimented with corned beef in the tomato sauce...wasn't too bad.
