^ I like the raw brass one but would want it less shiny/bright. Please use on my second belt.

Really appreciate the made in usa.

How long do you think you'll be making these? I might get in on this at a later date.

buckles riveted on or snap buckle flap ???? I have abandoned Filson belts for this reason, when they dropped the solid brass buckle and started to rivet them in place and discontinued the snaps to allow buckle changes

this looks like you are going to be making a good alternative to filson or saddle back belts. looking forward to seeing them

Depends on how well it goes, that is why I am doing a run of 40 first.

I can make them with snaps upon order from the customer.

Nope, I am doing two snaps or one rivet and stitching to hold the sides down. Both ways will be classic and well finished. I am getting nickel and brass snaps to match the buckle.

I honestly dislike snaps, but I know others like them. I will take EACH order and make them to size, color and details. Upon each customer I will go over how to measure correctly for a perfect fit. I know I am not the only one that hates a long belt ending that sticks out too far.

I am going to spend a day and work out this new stain and make my own belt first to show everyone. Then I will take orders for everyone that wants in.

Subscribed. I just retired my 12y/o belt and have gone through 2 in the last few months so I'd be very interested in a high quality full grain leather to replace it.
                  Looking forward to pics.

I'm in. Looks like what I've been searching for. Full grain aged look. Let me know if you can make a very rigid belt as well. I'd like to have a gun belt that didn't look like a dress belt or tactical nylon mall ninja.

I may be down for one even though I just dropped good money on an Allen Edmonds belt. When would I have to decide?

I love their shoes, that is something I am going to tackle for myself one of these days...

Honestly at this point I have to go make a run and buy more leather. Currently I have more orders than two hides can produce. I will have finished product once the buckles arrive. I am thinking by this weekend they will get in. I am cutting and staining all three colors then adding the buckles later. Gives an idea what the leather looks like finished opposed to a picture.

In short, next week I will have more leather and can take on more orders. These will be awesome, I am huge into fashion and a perfectionist. So the end result will be perfect.

I have good news and bad news. First the good, got the package today and the leather is gorgeous and damage free. Bad news is the hide is a double shoulder. That means it is not as wide or long as I thought I ordered. I can still make belts, just not that many and nothing over 49". It is 23"x49" so I can make 15 belts from this hide. I also have enough leather to make some bracelets for the shorter tails.

So if your waist measures 49" end to end this will not fit. I like to have around 6-7" overlap for the first belt loop. Below is a picture on how to measure your belt. If you do it wrong it is not my fault.

Are you able to stitch leather? I am working on an idea for a new gun belt, and if this local belt maker cant do it, I may be getting in contact with you.
