Amazing. That is awesome. Huntsman is THE place to go, not only for your area, but a huge chunk of the Western US, and even the world. Awesome news!!!!

I'm really glad to hear things should start going up from here. My brother just went through a kidney transplant after doing dialysis for years. Some other infection of some sort came up and he is delusional and not doing too well, but the kidney is doing wonderfully! Will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Congrats on being accepted to huntsman!

My grandpa went through cancer treatment last year, it was a scary ordeal. I wish your father the best.

God, I am so fucking tired of cancer. I went through this earlier this year with my dad's best friend, who was essentially my uncle. Sadly he lost the fight.

I wish the best for you and your father. Cancer is a sick son of a bitch and it breaks my heart to hear about people being diagnosed with it. It seems like it's in my life quite a bit as I get older. Keep your head up and stay supportive. Encourage your dad to fight as hard as he can. Good luck man.

Hope for the best! My dad had lung cancer a little over a year ago..

Cancers a hard thing to watch.

Had our first consult at the Huntsman, the surgery is planned for the 9th of September. The doctor was very patient and informative, specially with me firing question after question like a game show. Here is the image of the cancer on the right kidney (where the cursor is), note how much bigger the kidney has become.

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

Still prayin' for you, your Dad, and family. Awesome news, I bet your Dad really appreciates and values you being by his side and helping take the mental load of it all. Stay strong, and be sure to squeeze in a bit of 'you' time to make sure you stay sane, don't worry, your father needs you at your best and a little time to reset is what it takes, don't burn out, you got a race to run together. I'm looking forward to a healthy diagnosis and the awesome celebratory meet you'll throw.

And, I'll be there, I swear. (Really.)

And it begins. Remember there is a difference between survive it and conquer it.

These guys on r3v helped me conquer it! Now they got your back.
