I prefer the older style with a clear background as it's more subtle. I'm kinda surprised at the reaction to the sticker but I can see how some might feel it's pretentious. The whole idea came from people assuming the M3 was a 318/325 with a bodykit, so the sticker was meant to educate non BMW afficionados with some fun facts.

I can understand that but I think the M3 owner knowing it's not a 325e is good enough. You don't have to broadcast that to every passerby. And if you do, who are you buying the car for?

They need one of those stickers for e36 M3s, since BMW decide to be a dick and only make the differences bolt on.

Of course a sticker just pointing out the "WBS" vin would be enough.

I don't understand why you'd put a sticker on your car that is meant to educate people that don't know. If they don't know, good. who cares.

There wasn't one on his car when I saw it in the shop last month.

OP: I'm in for a fusebox sticker. How do I pay you?

This I would get. Would make life a hell of a lot easier not having to open that forsaken glove-box and flip through the damn manual.
save the picture on your phone doggsy or just search online google images, we all got smart phones.
