How the eff do you guys figure the bikers were at fault? Do we know the full story?
Looked like the Range Rover hit the initial biker from behind. Doesn't matter if the biker broke. The guy in front has the right of way... But you have to wonder what started that.
Then the driver probably panicked and stupidly decided to plow through their crew. Bad move.
The bikers did the right thing by tracking the guy down because that was a hit and run but they should have NEVER beat his window in and caused anymore danger on the road (hopefully that's as far as it went). Both parties should have called the police.
Anyway, I hate NYC for stupid shit like this. Bunch of hurt boys playing up to ego. Idiots.

Because I'm sure a father with wife and child intentionally hit a biker while surrounded by other bikers.

My solution....if I were in the Jeep is go where they can't. Not sure what they were trying to do to the guy originally but that shit was all bad. I'm in a 4000lb, armored, highly modified jeep, unless I feel a direct threat to my life or the lives of others, the .45 does not come out. At low speed I WILL push your gay ass bike out of my way! :mrgreen:

If the video told the entire story...I'd agreed with you guys but I can't help but wonder if the SUV driver did anything to the bikers to provoke them...ie cut them off (very common) or nearly hitting them. Stuff that one biker might let go but 100 bikers won't.

unfortunate chain of events set in motion by one ? dumbass inattentive biker either braking or just being a dumbass in front of a RR who really had no chance to avoid the initial incident.

the RR probably shouldn't have run over those bikes at the beginning but no one knows what sort of aggression was implied upon the car and family within during the initial insult.

I've ridden motorcycles for around 16 years but if I were seriously concerned about my family's safety in such an event would probably act similarly.

I have respect for bikers who deserve it. I move to my left or to my right to give way to those who lane split. These bikers however got half of what they deserve. I hope that justice will take over the other half. If I was in my car with my family and a hundred senseless angry bikers attack, the animal in me would come out and i will do everything I can to protect my family. The bikers would probably have suffered even more.

yeah the brake check that started the incident falls into the play stupid games win stupid prizes category. I am with the rover as well sadly this happened in a state where Self Defense is highly frowned upon, I really hope the cops dont change their minds and try and charge him with something.... If they do its going to take some fancy lawyerin to get him cleared.

Those fuckers bring a bad name to all that ride and only reenforce the negative stereotypes of young ass hats that have bikes
