I have no beef with Taurus. My buddy has one in .40 S&W and it's fun to shoot. The FFL is a requirement to receive a gun shipment. :P

With my car i just got a universal cat and it smogged fine. And as far as mods and them knowing. The only way they can really tell if you did any work to your car as far as i know is what they see is what that can tell. They will not be able to tell if you bored the block and did a lot of head work. but if you did a MAF conversion, any custom exhaust before the cat or anything that they can see isnt stock it will fail the bull shit visual inspection.

IIRC, in CA, you can't install/sell a dual outlet muffler on a car that came with a single outlet.

It's an m10. It doesn't need to exhale that much. If I were you, find a local exhaust shop, and have them make you something up.

And yes. CA is crazy. WA state is sooo much better for cars. Where I live (across the water from Seattle) I don't even have to smog my car.

Pro tip: Go to the Hispanic side of town. You'll get the best price, and some of the best welders/pipe benders in town.

California Defines sucking balls. But sad to say its one of the nicest states to cars physically. where i am at least. No snow so i dont need to worry about rust too much. Lots of trees so not a whole lot of cars backing in the sun. I just wish the bull shit laws made cause of the crappy smog in big cities make the entire state smog there cars with the exception of a few counties. California would be one of the better states to live in if it threw away its laws and adopted Texan laws LOL.

Muffler and piping behind the cat are not relevant and do not matter for smog purposes. Only thing that matters is stock manifolds and approved cats.
