My wife is into genealogy, over the past 4 years she's researched my family line back to the 1700's in the revolutionary war. We've been able to document that I am a Son of the American Revolution; my paperwork is in for analysis/vetting now.

She's found evidence of my direct bloodline in every war fought by the united States until Vietnam; my dad missed the draft and didn't enlist. Some pretty crazy stuff happened in the past.
