Me I'd just get a cheap 2K beater and drive it. No need for expensive car in my garage. I would not mind maybe an E46 330i manual.
    For real.

Vanilla is the best flavour though.

    E46 non m is less than 10k (5k-8k)

325i 2002-2006 is the most reliable and unlikely to have subframe related chassis failure.

E46 330 is pretty cheap nowadays; nobody really pays more for a 330 over a 325 unless it's a "ZHP"; Those are fetching 12k+

Best perfprmance e46 for the money will be a 5 speed face lift 2002+ 330i.

Around 2005/6 all e46 non-m changed to 6 speed (and smg was also an option)

S2000 is a money pit unless a really good example is obtained.

    G37s won't happen under 10k.

you know, you can buy a BRAND NEW Hyundai or Kia for $10k or less. Some of them actually are pretty cool.
Nando meant nearly new I assume, not directly from the dealer's new lot.

Most *BRAND NEW* cars compare closely to each other as far as price goes.

I could have sworn Hyundai had a 12 year warranty, at least that's what my parents have. I guess they changed it:
