Well Nsquared said he wanted different cars, but we can do the DTM theme if we have a consensus from everyone.

Nononono I wanted to keep the DTM theme, just said I didn't want to be tied to one particular car throughout the series. Definitely keep the DTM car list that we used last week.

Thanks for picking this up and starting a thread!

Ah, I see the confusion now. Yes, thanks for doing this! I'm still on the road on the way home so I haven't been online much. Just did ~5 laps in the Sierra, Volvo, Mitsubishi, and the Mustang. Results to follow.

            Uh, whoops. About those pictures...
Should put some time into the Sierra and Volvo, moved on too quickly and didn't beat the above time. Here are the other cars though:

Yeah, just like last week's challenge. Wide open as long as you don't exceed 600.

I seem to be pretty slow around this track. I'll have to do some more laps.

A lot of the corners don't require any braking. IMO makes for a much funner track when fast times don't depend on exact braking points like a lot of other tracks do.

What do you guys think about a DTM Nurburgring rally, with the track split into stages?

Hmm, I think the only two corners I don't use the brakes at are the sweeper after the hairpin and the right hander two corners later.

Would each stage be a challenge, or a combo of the four times?

If we do that, I might just do a full lap for my own enjoyment... :)

Yeah, I had a hard time getting under 1:53, I had to go and do laps to get my braking points down. I managed to get into the 1:52s with the sierra, going to keep tweaking it though.

Had a dirty 1:54.1, but this was the best I managed clean.

I think this might be my best effort.
