This is what I was thinking as we well. While helping to get a firm off the ground is one thing with ownership stake in said firm, being a hired man at 30% +/- of your marketable value is totally another. Agree with others as well if they are only willing to pay you a 1/3 then they had better be willing to be very flexible in allowing you to continue working for your self in your current gig....

Well, working for myself means I'm on my knees most of the time. Either dealing with clients or trying to convince a new one that I'll swallow.
