Awesome man this sounds great. Thanks for the tip

You need to do the Cabot Trail when you're in NS, can do it on your bike.

Plan your adventure along the Cabot Trail — 298 km of breathtaking coastal views, cultural richness, and unforgettable experiences on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.

Wow, if you get to the Bridge to PEI, you are only about 5km from my house (I look at the bridge and island all day)...you would have to stop by for a coffee at least, I also have much room if you needed a stopping place for the night...

Update: some pics from camera and some from instagram

We rolled into Maryland a couple nights ago and found a great cheap camp site in College Park

Enjoyed a late night dinner in the bus

It was a mile and a half hike through the woods and down the street from our site to the DC Metro Rail station, makes getting in and out of the city pretty nice

We spent all day yesterday hiking up and down the Mall seeing all the tourist things to see in the Capitol. I really enjoyed spending a couple hours in the Holocaust Memorial Museum, even though it was a very sobering experience. I find that era in history fascinating so it was very interesting to read and see all the displays.

The heat and the crowds of tourists were quickly turning us off, so we went in search of refreshments. That lead us to the Right Proper Brewery, they had many delicious beers on draft and excellent food

We spent a leisurely morning on the bus today just enjoying breakfast and relaxing in the shady trees. We finally hiked down to the train and headed into town, we were recommended this place called Pizzeria Paradiso in DuPont Circle by a local guy last night, and I am so glad we went. Greatest pizza I have had in a long time. Thats where we are sitting now enjoying the use of the free wifi. We are staying one more night here, then heading up north of Philly to visit an old E30 friend before heading over to GFEST!

Paradiso has an excellent selection of local draught and the greatest pizza and salads around. You can tell how happy beer and food make me hahaha

Here is our latest blog post about visiting DC for anyone interested! Also have several other posts from our previous stops

When we left North Carolina, we had to get out of our dreamy, sleepy small town mode and into the big city mindset. Our bus, however, got to unwind in the woods while we went out to play. Taking ad…

After our stay in Washington, we made our way up into Pennsylvania to visit an old friend of ours in Wilkes-Barre. We met Stephen a couple years ago while he was living in Portland for work, and ha…

I know they were in Moncton NB on the 4th, they were going to overnight at my farm on the way to PEI, but by the time i returned the message,he said time frame and other factors were forcing them to abandon that idea and head back to the US. Hope all is well.
