    This trip looks awesome! It's been really cool to read about how everything has come together. Congrats on making it.

    Have you been concerned about your bikes getting stolen? Did you lock them to the roof rack somehow?

    Sounds like you pulled through the mechanical. Glad to see it worked out. The pic of the pool is great with the NAPA in view. A true scenic view for a stranded gear head.

    I would leave earlier if you want to avoid the heat before you get to Victorville, like I said earlier in this thread, just speaking from past experience, I have made that trek without A/C many times...
