I would leave but it's 400 degrees outside and I paid for two nights at my hotel. I'm leaving around 430am to avoid the desert heat and get to SoCal hopefully before noon.

I would leave earlier if you want to avoid the heat before you get to Victorville, like I said earlier in this thread, just speaking from past experience, I have made that trek without A/C many times...
