Doesnt ignore the fact that they sound like shit.

Seems like inside the car you can't hear it unless sitting still with the HVAC off and no radio. And even then barely.

I'd bet normal road noise would drown it out, or the HVAC, or the radio, imagine all 3 combined!

But I understand it's the internetz, we have to find something to complain about.

I work at mazda, in almost all of them except for the CX-5 you can hear the noisy engine.

They are underpowered, but so are e30s.

I recently rented a 3 with SkyActive. No unruly or unexpected noise at all.
