Three-time SPEED Touring Car champion Pierre Kleinubing is now....

    a drifter.

that's right, this amazing driver is going to throw an S2000 sideways, promote the use of Bridgestone's new tire in heavy abuse and RTR with him.

“We are excited to be a part of the 2006 Formula D season, and to feature Bridgestone tires on RealTime’s new Honda S2000,” said Phil Pacsi, executive director, consumer tire marketing, Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC. “When you combine the performance of our ‘extreme’ Potenza RE-01R tires with Pierre’s seasoned racing experience, you have a solid foundation for success in this prestigious series.”

I know advertising is supposed to be targeted to heavy users, but inventing sports to raise tire sales is pretty redic.

Sell-out marketing aside, a turbo S2K sounds pretty insane.
