I think the debate is exactly how lame mac owners can be. You usually see some hippy fuck pratically sexing his mac. Unlike your average mac owner I've yet to get wood telling people about my computer.
Besides, who the fuck would want to be lumped in with the type of idiot mac markets to?Im now E30less.

Since this is turning into a debate...
I think its hillarious how apple can't keep up and need to move to Intel x86 technology in order to compete. I've seen plenty of tests where a PC beat out a MAC in quicktime encoding which started as a mac-native format. I never had an ounce of respect for apple UNTIL they built OSX based on *nix (best thing they ever did IMO). It isn't about the hardware anymore (because its going to be all x86 based anyways), its about the operating system.
Since I already use linux on an intel x86 architecture, I don't see any point in using a mac other than the nice/slick GUI. You could make the argument that software on a MAC is better, but I don't necessarilly agree. Apple has made 2 core architectural changes to their systems that have caused software developers to completely redesign code. They're not happy with that and some have stopped supporting apple because of it.
This isn't really a hate on apple/macs rant. As I said before, I respect their usage of *nix as their operating system kernel and I think they're well built machines. I just don't agree with anyone who says a mac is better than a PC because the differences are becoming incredibly slim.Michael Spiegle
