For a while, the World Rally Championship was bigger than Formula 1. During those crazy years from 1983 to 1986, …

Who else likes these weird little boxy triangle powered cars? I sure as shit do.. I've been considering one as a next car after the 02 rusts away to nothing.. Hmm rotary.

These are pretty bad ass too.. Dad's highschool buddy blew the doors off some american muscle car in one at a stop light. Dude asked what was in it at the next light and he said "Just a 1.3!" :D

I looked at a few of them before I settled on an E30, and was really interested for a while. Don't like the sound of 2-rotors though, or the premix ritual, or the horrendous gas mileage. FBs are some beautiful cars though and I could see myself buying one as a toy some day, just not as regular driver...

The pre-mix thing isn't necessary unless the oil metering pump has been deleted though. I daily drove all my 7's (including the FD) and gas isn't much worse than my e30. I got 25 mpg out of the FD to a from Tucson once.

                      20B single turbos are insane
R26B 4 rotors produce such an amazing exhaust note
