    I agree completely with on that. My dads friend Scooter Patrick use to race Can Am and was a semi works driver for Porsche in the mid to late 60"s and raced Can Am to 1975. He said it was the best years of his life racing in that time period. He also raced for James Garner in Formula 5000 and in a Lola T70 i think that was the name of the car.

      Very cool! He must have some awesome stories. The Lola T70 was a sports and endurance racer; it came in a closed and open variant, powered by either a Chevy or Ford V8. It was also Lola's first Can Am entry, and the only Ford-powered car to win a Can Am race (Bridgehampton with Dan Gurney at the wheel). Their later efforts were the T220 and T222.

      Open T70(the Gurney car):

      Closed T70:

      T220:

      T222:

      The Lola T332 was their F5000 entry if I remember correctly:

      All awesome! :D

        Yep the yellow T70 was what he raced except ther car was dark blue and the F5000 was red too.Scooter also made a racing movie with James called "The racing sceen" I have it on DVD. It has them racing in baja 500 and the 24hr Daytona and also 12hr Sebring with the T70 and the F5000 at Mosport racing as well .

            Dan Gurney for President! I LOVE that thing!

            I see some big Gurney flaps, a sticker for Gurney-Westlake heads, and Genuine Viking Bardahl oil from Ballard!

                                s65 sounds like a lumpy cam big block every time I start it up.......kinda cool, but it very awkwardly immediately turns into a normal euro idle after about a minute. I'm not an engineer, but I've heard it has to do with emissions and heating up the cats.....maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong about that.
