Well that got dark fast.

There is situational awareness and then there is that.

My perspective:

I have one kid and one shot at getting her off the ground with very little trauma. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, yeah?

My priorities as her dad:

Teach her about Jesus
Protect her
Provide for her
Have as little regret as possible*

*This to me regret is avoided by using God-given wisdom and discernment. Thinking about her first, since she is totally dependent on mine and my wife's care and decision-making abilities.

Bidet master race checking in. I only poop at home. Heated water, heated seat, adjustable pressure, I don't understand why they aren't more popular. Pooping anywhere else feels like I'm transported back to the middle ages as a peasant. It's actually a big downside to travelling, no bidets!
