There are for sure more than one monster. The scene with the Barb's friend (main character - forget her name) when she's in the upside down, she sees one and steps on another.

Was that the episode when she crawled in the tree? I'll have to rewatch it I didn't catch that.

Agreed, but she had the Stranger Things version of a alien facesucker/worm in her though she's probably not going to be Barb when she comes back. Maybe the actress gets a few scenes in the next season turning into a monster, but as others said, she's "gone" unless you can magically un-evolve from that thing, she gone.

I don't think El's going to be a monster / demagorgon, she has power to stop them and is unaffected by the atmosphere in the upside down. So maybe she goes back and forth some in the next season between worlds.

This show is outstanding though.

The only thing i was not a fan of was the 15 minutes of bullshit at the end of the last episode. Its only ourpose was to set the stage for seaon 2. There was a few cool things in there(the little kid spitting out the "cockroach" in the shitter and hopper slipping into the government cordoba sedan) but mostly it was lame.
