i thought this talk of a movie called snakes on a plane was just some joke floating around car forums and peoples sigs. Then I realized it is going to be a real movie. This will be a potential career ender for SL Jackson, and the movie looks dumber than shit.

Something tells me its going to flop rather bad....I wouldn't be surprised if NetFlix already has copies in circulation.

I don't think people understand that this movie has already become and will be a cult phenomenon, and everyone knows it, including Samuel. No one cares that it's going to be hokey, that's probably the point. It's not about whether it's going to be a good movie or not. It's probably going to be hilarious.

I am almost wondering if it will actually end up being good. Granted the story is fucking stupider than shit (yes, I said stupider), but the action might kick ass.

I loved that movie. But I'm also a HUGE Michael Crichton fan.

First thing you guys are forgetting, Samuel L. Jackson has firmly established himself. There's not a movie he could do that would "ruin" his career.

This is obviously signified by the fact that they changed the movie title back from "Passenger Flight 1211" or whatever to the original "Snakes on a Plane", and then added dialogue that came from blogs. Did the "Fast and the Furious" or "Collateral" call itself potentially the "Best motion picture ever made?" Hell no. This movie is a joke.
