Oh yea, that's what I was saying, sorry if I didn't make it clear. Alot of people don't get it.

That movie was exactly what I expected it to be. It was pretty fucking gruesome actually, I wasn't expecting that level of violence. But it was definately excellent. I recommend it for everybody under 25, and it's really too bad you didn't make opening night.

And people were going nuts during the preview for "black snake moan" or whatever the HELL that movie was. Samuel Jackson chaining a skinny white girl to his shanty?

First thing you guys are forgetting, Samuel L. Jackson has firmly established himself. There's not a movie he could do that would "ruin" his career.
I really like SLJ, he has done some great work, he has also done some junk.

I bought the Sphere DVD unseen due to the talent involved (Crichton, cast) to say I was disappointed is an understatement, I won't buy DVDs I have not seen again.

Seconded. Everyone in the theater was laughing their asses off, whooping and hollering, clapping, screaming, it was FUCKING AWESOME. I've never had that much fun at a movie before. That was great. As soon as SLJ came on the screen, the whole theater EXPLODED in applause, and the movie got a standing ovation at the end.

I have to admit, on my way back from the bar they were starting the midnight show so my buddies and I in our drunken stupor couldnt pass it up. I had the same experience Josh, the entire movie theater was cracking up. I couldnt help but die laughing at some of the scenes. I really think the movie was made to be a comedy.
