So I hadn't seen the movie Donnie Darko until this summer and now that I have watched it a few times, I think it is one of my faves. Has anyone here every checked out the web site?? After reading that it makes the movie have so much more meaning.

I've only seen the director's cut. I hadn't seen it until about a year ago, and I bought the director's cut. One of my all time favorite movies now. I probably watch it once a month, on average.

And yes, the soundtrack kicks fucking ass.

You'll have to watch "The Boondock Saints" to know who that is...

Donnie Darko is on par with Boondock Saints as far as soundtrack/cinematography go.

The directors cut I think explains a lot more than the theatrical version, but I like the fact that the theatrical version keeps you thinking and trying to figure things out.
