Yeah that doesn't sound like it will be defunct before any of the other well-known, established services at all.

So I went through last night, downloaded two albums, fixed my old Zinno ES thread and also saved my F40 album pics, moved it all over to Flickr. Tried to keep the momentum going but then when I went back to photobucket it put that stupid image on my pics IN my OWN album....

      Fuck.Photobucket.

Yea I was trying to see my pics of a zinno E30 with my SSR wheels ;D

I think it might have exceeded some daily limit or something since I was basically there to remove as much of my content as I could. A good portion is from my myspace/ VW days so those pics can burn in hell with photobucket, but I have some others that I want to keep

Moving over to Flickr as we speak. Hope Verizon doesn't boff it up.

Any reason to switch to the Pro account?

Only if you take a ton of pics, it includes a desktop app that will auto upload from a certain folder, useful if you want it to just pull photos from your finished edits and upload to flickr. Also gives some stats on photos and how they are viewed.

Ahhh, thanks for the info. The web interface for bulk uploads does suck. But I figure it will only be one at a time or much smaller batches when I am done with this migration.

                            Thanks schnitzy.

When it was free It was a bit faster then the web upload too, but unless you are a big time photographer, doing it for a living, probably doesn't effect the average person.

I don't care enough to go back and fix my build threads. Half of the pictures were linked from shitbook because lazy, the other half were Photobucket and are now defunct. Meh. Maybe one day.
