I keep coming back to this picture. I'd like to see more pictures on the setup, looks like a land speed record type of deal, stick the most massive turbo we can, then strap on two still incredibly massive turbos to spool godzilla up.

That is called a compound turbo setup. Basically the smaller turbos are used for lower RPM's. When the wastegates open, they start to spool up the bigger turbo for higher rpm's.

^ Don't see any wastegates on that setup, and yes, I was just speculating on application of such a large compounding setup.

eh not quite, you can see that one turbo feeds into the other two turbos without a wastegate
