After that, we reached the paddocks... this was better than Disney World, cars everywhere, engine noises all around, I was struggling to fix my attention on one thing more than five seconds.

We spent some time there, between cars and mechanics, and went to the stands to watch some cars pass by.
The next day, we began with the official "BMW Classic" area.

The "BMW Clubs" was really nice with great examples of oldtimers and youngtimers.

As we were heading to the paddocks, I noticed a crowd in front of the BMW Classic tent. The V12 LMP was out! I managed to sneak up close and saw mechanics change its tires and start it. I've filmed it and will post it in a few days.

Then they took it off the stand.

Other beauties from the paddocks.

A Maserati Birdcage :

Tires everywhere...

Some action pictures, it's not easy to shoot them on the move.

I noticed this father with his son, showing him which cars were passing by on the magazine.

Back to the track, still damp.

VIPs had the opportunity to lap the track on board of Mercedes AMG, Ford RS / GT and BMW M, which led to unusual trafic jam...

There's also a traffic jam when the big toys get off the track and go back to their paddocks. It's an opportunity to take shots up close.

Saturday night, as we were leaving the track, we were told that a team was pulling a BMW engine out. It was an M12. Sadly I could'nt take better pictures.

Not very far from them, we could have a look at the bimmers engines (batmobiles and 2002 Heidegger).

Sunday, still those traffic jams!
