                                Speaking of generators, I wish I could find a picture of what I assume is a liquid fuel turbine that I drove by on the way to the UP. it had a few petroleum storage tanks outdoors (the large ones looked like this http://cdn3.wn.com/pd/90/e3/d9f97072...ca0_grande.jpg) an obvious grid hookup (some transformers and a some high tension lines), and a rather small building (relatively speaking) with two comically large louvered air intakes coming off the top.

                                I don't see how it could be anything but a genset for periods of peak load / unusual demand. I'm thinking a dual gas turbine plant.
