I take 800 mg (usually 4 tablets) of Ibuprofen right before I go to bed, and next day, NO hangover at all. And I'm talking after nights when I've gotten absolutely fucking HAMMERED. Once or twice, I've passed out before I could take some, and the next day, I was wishing I was dead. But it works great for me, 800 mg of Ibuprofen (Advil works, same thing) and I'm perfect the next day.

OK, I'll chime in. Being a bit older than many on the board, I have had time to experiment with quite a few of these so called remedies. First, get the fuck out of bed and out of the house. Drink water, lots of it...and coffee, drink a shit ton of coffee. Next, go out and find the greasiest most disgusting hamburger you can find. No rookie McD's of BK shit, it has to be authentic. By the time you drink the water and the coffee, get dressed and get out of the house, then go and eat up a greasy burger, you'll be feeling a million times better. It works trust me.

I find it's easier to prevent hangovers than to cure them, and the key is lots of water prior to turning in. Lots of water in the morning has rarely helped me, except for the unsettling feeling of having a whole bunch of nonalcoholic liquid sloshing around in your stomach.

I don't do any painkillers after drinking. Bad. Especially 800mg of Advil, are you kidding me? Ibuprofen causes stomach bleeding when combined with alcohol, and if you've had a shitton of alcohol, you can bet that it's still in your system.

the only reason I don't do the advil/ibuprofen route is because I would assume that my liver doesn't want to help take care of that after already processing a case of beer and more over while the case of beer is primarily still in there.

              Get a big glass.
              pour another beer into it
              add some tomato juice
              dump some salt on top.
about 2 of those and you'll be capital

                  2x asprin before you crash

a piece or wheat toast (with nothing on it), and a banana for breakfast the next morning.

you'll be good to go with that.

pedialyte > gatorade. Hydrate, minerals and electrolytes. It's all about the dehydration, especially if you're puking.

Eurospeed's reccomendation of motrin 800 aint bad, but keep in mind that much ibuprofen and a stomach full of booze can be really hard on your stomach and if you're prone to ulcers like me, not the best idea. Plus most analgesics metabolize in your liver, which is taxed enough by your boozin, so take it easy people.

If you feel nauseous, take some emetrol.

I'm a fatty food fan too, often the only thing available is crap and the box late at night around here, so get yourself an order of bacon cheddar potato wedges, two tacos, and a cheeseburger. go home, hydrate, and sleep.

I think it's his take on a bloody mary, if you have no alcohol in the house except beer, and no celery.

Bong rip....(repeat as needed). Once baked, sit on couch and try not to move. IMPORTANT! Call in sick if you are employed! You will be OK by 1800 hours at which time you can start drinking again.

                          Trust me it works!

For 10 years I gladly gave evrybody my instructions to how to cure hangover...

Last time I got drunk, next day I discovered that I have never had hangover earlier...

If you can do any of those methods above or you are able to eat, drink or even move your body you don't have hangover :)

I drink very heavily and I never get hangovers. Hangover = headache + nausea? Is that it?
